How long does roofing work take to complete?
Roofing work can take anywhere from a few hours to several days or even a few weeks, depending on the scope of the project and what exactly needs to be done. Commercial roof replacements tend to be the lengthiest projects, while residential roof repairs and Roof in a Day roof replacements offer the fastest turnaround times. When we provide an estimate for your roofing project, we will include a project timeline so you know exactly what to expect.
Will my new roof be covered by a warranty?
Yes! Your roof will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and you can purchase additional warranty protection for added peace of mind.
What brands of roofing materials do you use?
We only utilize the highest quality roofing materials, including Owen’s Corning GAF shingles and Tucson Rubberized Coatings elastomeric roof coatings. We are a preferred contractor for both of these brands.
Do you price match?
We work hard to keep our pricing fair and affordable, and we will price match on warranties. Just show us a written estimate from any of our competitors, and we will match their price.
When should I replace my roof?
You may need a roof replacement if your roof is more than 20 years old, has been severely damaged by wind or rain, or needs frequent repairs that are no longer financially feasible. The best way to know if you need a new roof is to schedule a free roof inspection from Modern Desert Roofing. We will thoroughly assess the condition of your roof and make our recommendations.
How long will my new roof last?
The lifespan of your roof will depend on the type of roof you install, as well as the materials used. Built up roofs typically last about 20-30 years, while shingle roofs last for about 15-30 years. Tile roofs can last 50 years or more, but they are also the most costly to install.
